Emotional Freedom Technique

I realise that sometimes it can feel very difficult to call for a first therapy or EFT appointment, no matter how much you may feel you need some support.  I will always give you my undivided attention in our appointments and on the telephone. I provide psychotherapy and EFT in a non-judgmental, nurturing atmosphere.

EFT is a therapy that has been in existence for about 30 years. It was discovered in the United States and then travelled to the rest of the world. It is also known as ‘tapping therapy’, or sometimes it is called ‘acupuncture without needles’.  It has been researched extensively, with strongly positive results for its effectiveness in resolving both emotional and physical difficulties.  It is gentle enough to be used by people in chronic pain and with the pain that comes from chronic disease.  It is a very gentle and amazing therapy – people often feel improvement in their condition right from the very first session.  It can be used in conjunction with other therapies, including medical treatment.  EFT is currently under consideration by NICE (National Institutes of Clinical and Healthcare Excellence), and is being used in numerous NHS clinics within the UK.

EFT can work on any issue or difficulty. I am happy to treat any ailment, physical or emotional and specialise in using EFT to treat chronic pain, chronic disease, phobias and to enhance performance in sports, at work and in life generally.
